All are overseen by the Saudi Arabia Monetary Authority (SAMA).Established as the Kingdom’s central bank in 1952, SAMA’s role is to supervise banks and financial institutions, manage monetary policy, oversee the financial and insurance systems, and to maintain soundness within the banking system.
